Originally from Montreal, Canada, I live in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida during the Winter but spend my Summers in Camden, Maine.

For 13+ years I was a Graphic Designer for The PGA of America and ran my own Art and Antique Gallery from 2008 until 2015. I’ve always been artistic and drawn to the visual arts but never pursued Fine Art seriously on my own. Then one day in 2016, I took an online drawing course in color pencil and immediately took to the new medium. I enjoy the control I have with color pencil, which allows me to achieve the level of realism I aim for. As much as I love color pencil, it is a very time consuming process and sometimes I wish to be freer and more spontaneous with my art. This has led me to explore pastels. Pastels being considered both a drawing and a painting medium, have offered me a wonderful transition from color pencil. Now I go back and forth in both mediums, depending on the subject matter. Mostly I do landscapes in pastels and my florals and animals in color pencil.

Though still new in living my life as an artist, I’ve participated in a couple of juried exhibitions in South Florida and won a first honorable mention award for my “Orchids in Palm Beach” ( color pencil ). I am proud to be showing my work at Saltwater Artists Gallery.
