Ericka O’Rourke

Ericka O’Rourke is a Maine based mixed-media artist and designer who primarily works in both oil and watercolor to create her nature-inspired paintings. She received her BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. Ericka worked as a graphic designer and digital illustrator in the New York City publishing industry for over 25 years. She now resides in New Harbor with her husband, a retired Game Warden and a very lovable, albeit nutty, Vizsla. Ericka is endlessly inspired by the raw beauty of midcoast Maine and loves to hike and explore, sketching and photographing her adventures, which later manifest in her studio creations. Ericka is a member of the New England Watercolor Society, Saltwater Artist’s Gallery in New Harbor, and the Maine Art Gallery in Wiscasset. Learn more about Ericka and her work
